A timed 5K and 1K fun run followed by a community street fair to support the Gainesville-Haymarket Youth Football League and Childhood Cancer Awareness.
This charity event is more than just a 5-kilometer run: it is a timed race that will be awarding special prizes to the fastest in the field by age groups. A 1K Fun Run Route is also planned just in case you are not feeling up to a 5K. After the race, enjoy the community street fair, parade of GHYFL teams, music and even a carnival. There will be over 40 vendors on hand selling various merchandise and food retailers in the shopping center will have booths serving food.
The course will travel through the shopping center's parking lot, down neighborhood streets and back.
You can pickup your packet on Wednesday, Sept 3 at Grafton Street in Gainesville between 6-8:00 pm.
